Instructions For Regina Steamer Carpet Cleaner

The Regina carpet steemer should never be operated by children

The Regina Carpet Steemer is a double-insulated appliance, which means two means of insulation are provided in the device to act as a grounding method instead of grounding the appliance to the electrical supply. The carpet cleaner has a polarized alternating current line plug, which means that one blade on the plug is wider than the other to reduce the risk of electrical shock. The Regina carpet steamer should be operated by adults only. Vacuuming the area with a standard vacuum prior to using the carpet cleaner will increase its effectiveness.

Instructions

1. Move the wheels away from the nozzle and pinch together the gray and red latch. Lower the latch towards the nozzle and push the tank down and out of the machine.

2. Open the tank cap and fill the tank with clean water to the fill line. Close the gray cap and place the tank on the cleaner. Lift up the gray latch when pushing the tank back on the machine until you hear a click.

3. Open a new Regina carpet cleaner cartridge and place it in the docking bay on the side of the cleaner with the directions facing you. Move the white locking level from left to right to click into place.

4. Plug in the carpet cleaner and press the clean spray button on the top of the handle. Begin cleaning by pulling the cleaner backwards. The cleaner is designed to primarily move in a backwards motion. Tilt the nozzle off the floor and roll the cleaner forward to begin a second pass.

5. Continue working in overlapping rows over the surface area to be cleaned. Repeat over the entire surface area without pushing the cleaning button to pull water back up through the machine, which will help the carpet dry faster.

6. Release the tank latch and empty the tank when finished.
