Create A Lawn Service Invoice Sheet

An invoice sheet is a helpful tool to have when billing your lawn-service customers. The sheet will inform the customer of the current amount due and any other applicable charges. Invoice sheets are available online and on your computer as templates. The templates are pre-formatted and contain the formulas to calculate your invoice totals. The templates can be customized with your logo and services as you save it for future uses.


Instructions


Excel 2010


1. Click the File tab and select New. Select the Invoices and Service Invoices. Click an invoice to see a preview of it in the right task pane. Click the Download icon to download the template to your computer. The template opens in Excel 2010.


2. Highlight the default text and enter your company information. Update the invoice number sequence for your business. Right-click the logo image and select Change Picture. Browse your computer and locate your lawn services logo. Click Open. Your logo replaces the default logo.


3. Add your monthly services on the first row of the invoices. Save the invoices changes by clicking the Save icon on the Quick Access Toolbar.


Google Documents


4. Access the Google Documents website. Type lawn invoice in the search box. Click Search Templates. Review the lawn templates that appear. Download the template by clicking the Use This Template button. The template opens online in Google Documents.


5. Highlight the default text and enter your company information. Update the invoice number sequence for your business. Add logo by clicking Insert and Image on the menu. Enter a web address for the logo image. Click Select. Your logo appears on the invoice.


6. Add your monthly services on the first row of the invoices. Save the invoice changes by clicking the Save icon on the menu.


OpenOffice


7. Access the OpenOffice website. Type invoice in the search box. Review the invoice templates that appear. Download the template by clicking the Use This button. The template opens online in OpenOffice Calc.


8. Highlight the default text and enter your company information. Update the invoice number sequence for your business. Click Insert and Picture. Select From File. Browse your files and locate your logo. Click the logo and the Open button. The logo appears on the invoice sheet.


9. Add your monthly services on the first row of the invoices. Save the invoices changes by clicking the Save icon on the menu.
