Bombardier Ds 650 Specifications

The Bombardier DS 650 is an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) intended for motocross and other off-roading applications. It is especially suited for off-roading in sandy terrain; in fact, the DS in the name stands for Dune Sport. The DS 650's heavy weight makes it less of a choice for motocross tracks that involve a lot of jumping.


Engine


The Bombardier DS 650 has a liquid-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke engine with a dual overhead camshaft and a displacement of 653cc. It has a dry-sump lubrication system and a Mikuni BSR 42mm carburetor. It has a capacitor discharge ignition system and an electric starter. It has chain drive with a five-speed transmission. It has a five-speed manual clutch. Its fuel tank has a capacity of 3.5 gallons.


Brakes and Suspension


The front brakes are dual hydraulic discs, and the rear brake is single hydraulic disc. The front suspension consists of dual A-arms whose travel measures 12 inches. The rear suspension consists of a single swingarm, and its travel measures 11.5 inches.
