Producing home appliances since 1927, U.S.-based manufacturer Kenmore offers a range of vacuum cleaners. Kenmore lines include built-in, canister, handheld, indoor/outdoor and upright vacuum models. If any design of Kenmore vacuum has a broken or defective component, you may find replacement parts through a number of retailers. Simply search for the part that corresponds to your specific model or part number.
Brush Rolls
Many Kenmore models include a brush roll component. Some brush rolls work with multiple models. For example, the Kenmore/Sears Power Nozzle, the Whispertone and the Power Mate Canister vacuums all take the same 14-inch brush roller. Most brush rolls are wooden and are available either in natural wood or black, depending on the model. In some models, the brush roll is attached to ball bearings and end caps, and the replacement piece comes as a complete unit. Many brush rolls feature a simple installation, easily popping in to place. As of September 2010, brush rolls ranged in price from $34.95 to $49.95.
Nozzle Belts
Variously termed belts, nozzle belts or nozzles, these parts come in packs of two, designed to fit with the corresponding model's brush rollers. A Kenmore vacuum with bags sized 20-5023 or 20-5033 require nozzle belts measuring 2.5 x 2.5 x 0.5 inches. Prices range from $4.95 to $13.95.
HEPA Filters
A High Efficiency Particle Arresting (HEPA) filter, removes mold, dust, dander and other allergens from the air. Many Kenmore models feature a HEPA filter which is available for replacement for $12.95. The HEPA replacement filters come in four designs: one for all upright vacuums; another for canister-style units; a third, circular-shaped filter for bagless upright vacuums; and a fourth design for HEPA exhaust filtration to fit within the rear of the canister inside the cover grid.
Other Filters
Besides the HEPA filters, Kenmore vacuums feature filters to protect the motor and to fit behind or beneath the dust bag. The filters are three-ply and made of foam. Of the three different filter models, one fits all the Kenmore Progressive Canister Vacuums and the other two correspond to various upright vacuum models. Prices for 3-ply filters range from $4.95 to $7.95.
Wheels
An easily-damaged external feature, Kenmore vacuum rear wheels come in a range of styles to suit each model. Wheel diameters range from 2 1/4 to 5 1/2 inches. Smaller wheels come in packs of two and larger wheels are sold individually. Prices range from $8.95 for a single 3 1/2-inch wheel to $16.48 for a 5 1/2-inch wheel.
