The Roadliner and the Raider are both motorcycles manufactured by Star Motorcycles, a subsidiary brand of Yamaha. In 2010, the Star Raider was developed through to a 2011 model, while the Roadliner did not have a 2011 model available in 2010.
Engine
Star Motorcycles reports that both the Raider and the Roadliner have a 113-cubic-inch engine providing 1,854 cc, and are equipped with five-speed multiplate-clutch manual transmissions. Both motorcycles have V-twin air-cooled engines.
Size
The Star Raider is 101.2 inches long, 45.9 inches high, 36.4 inches wide, with a ground clearance of 5.8 inches. In comparison, the Star Roadliner S is 101.6 inches long, 43.3 inches wide and 43.3 high, with a ground clearance of 6.1 inches.
Fuel
The 2011 Raider, which retails for around $14,490 is manufactured with a 4.2-gallon fuel tank and provides an estimated 42 miles per gallon in fuel consumption. Star Motorcycles reports that the $15,290 Roadliner S has a 4.5-gallon fuel tank and also achieves 42 mpg.
