The Yamaha V Star series offers a number of motor bikes, such as V Star 950, V Star 950 Tourer, V Star 1100 Classic, V Star 1100 Custom, V Star 1100 Silverado, V Star 1300, V Star 1300 Tourer, V Star Classic, V Star Silverado and V Star 250. You can customize any of these models on Yamaha's website using the on-site "Build Your Own" simulator.
Instructions
1. Go to Yamaha Start Motorcycles page.
2. Click "V Star" under "Models" on the left side of the page.
3. Select a model from the list, for instance, V Star 1300 Tourer, V Star 950 or V Star Silverado.
4. Click the "Build Your Own" tab on the next page.
5. Click "Proceed to Build Your Own".
6. Select the model year you want to customize, for instance, 2010 or 2009.
7. Choose a custom color such as maroon, yellow, red, blue flames or stainless steel. The standard color for most V Star series bikes is black.
8. Click a category from the list such as "Seats and Backrests" or "Windshields". Clicking each category will open the accessories that come under that category.
9. Click and drag each accessory from the right panel onto the bike profile image. The accessory will be installed immediately. To remove it, drag it off the bike or click the "X" button on the accessory. Each accessory you add will contribute to the bike's total price.
10. Click "Save" when you're done, or "Print" to print out this page. To reset all the specifications and start over, click "Clear All".
