Facebook is a great website to keep connected with your friends, family and co-workers. One of the great features of Facebook is the ability to add pictures and share them with everyone you know. Adding photos is a simple process and a good way to have back up photos loaded on the web, should you ever have problems with your hard drive.
Instructions
Creating an Album
1. Log on to the Facebook website and log on to your account.
2. Look on the left side of the page under the "Applications" menu and click on the "Photos" link. This will bring you to the photos main page where photos of your friends are displayed.
3. Click on the "Add new photos" button located in the top right side of the page.
4. Fill out the fields in order to create your album.
5. Add your photos. A Java application will pop up that allows you to search through the files on your computer and select which photos you want to upload. Select the ones you want and press "Continue."
6. Write captions on any of the photos that you have uploaded, tag your Facebook friends in these albums, and choose which photo will be the album cover. Once you are finished with this page, press "Save."
Add Photos to an Existing Album
7. On your Facebook home page, look on the left side of the page under the "Applications" menu and click on the "Photos" link. This will bring you to the photos main page where photos of your friends are displayed.
8. In the upper right side of the page, click on the link to "My photos." This will bring up a page where all of your albums are displayed.
9. Find the album that you want to add photos to, and click on the "Edit album" button.
10. Click on the add more photos link at the top of the page.
11. Add your photos. A Java application will pop up that allows you to search through the files on your computer and select which photos you want to upload. Select the ones you want and press "Continue."
12. Write captions--all the photos that you have uploaded will be listed. Write the captions you want, tag your Facebook friends in these albums, and choose which photo will be the album cover. Once you are finished with this page, press "Save."
