LED brake lights improve visibility and safety.
LED lighting has become increasingly popular in recent years, mainly due to the improved visibility and safety that it offers compared to traditional incandescent bulbs. In addition to providing safety benefits, LED lights are unaffected by vibrations that can damage traditional tail lights and tend to have a significantly longer lifespan than normal bulbs. However, they don't last forever. Fortunately, they don't take very long to replace.
Instructions
1. Turn off your motorcycle before beginning any work on your brake light.
2. Unscrew the screws from the taillight lens, and remove them from the motorcycle. The housing and old LED cluster bulb should now be easily accessible.
3. Remove the LED cluster bulb by turning one-fourth of a turn. It should now slide out of the housing with little effort.
4. Clean the taillight base and socket with a clean rag. Debris in the taillight base can prevent the new LED gasket from making clean contact with the base.
5. Insert the base of the new LED taillight into the socket, and twist it until it is fully seated.
6. Align the taillight lens over the new LED cluster, lining up the screw holes.
7. Insert and tighten the screws until the lens is in place and fully seated.
8. Test the operation of both brake and running lights before taking your motorcycle onto the road.
