Create Flash Movies In Hd

Create a simple HD Flash Movie.

Adobe Flash has become a popular design tool for web developers who want to add a media-rich experience to websites. High Definition (HD) video is the new television standard. With the growing popularity of online streaming video, you can watch HD video through your computer, on your HD television and even with mobile HD video players. Creating Flash animations in HD requires a basic understanding of the HD image size and create a simple Flash movie.

Instructions

Make it HD

1. Open Flash Professional and select the default "Flash File (ActionScript 3.0)" by clicking the "OK" button from the startup menu.

2. Click "Edit" on the Properties tab located on the right side of the program window.

3. Enter "1920" in the first "Dimensions" field (width) and 1080 in the second field (height). Click the "OK" button. These are the dimensions of the 1080P HD format. Enter "1280" (width) by "720" (height) for the 720P HD format. Use the 1080P dimensions for this example.

4. Reduce the size of the stage (the large white rectangle) by selecting the size pull-down menu to the immediate left of the Properties tab in the upper right corner of the program window. Select "50%" or a size appropriate for your monitor. Use the scroll bars to position the stage in the middle of the program window.
