Emoji are fun, anime-inspired icons that convey more graphical and informational complexity than conventional emoticons. You can install the Emoji app on either Android or Apple OS devices. Once the free app is installed on your device, you can view Emoji in the app itself and in other apps that support the Emoji codec.
Instructions
Android
1. Open your Android's Web browser and go to the Android Market.
2. Tap the search box and type in "Emoji Codec free." Tap the "Emoji Codec free" entry in the search results.
3. Tap the blue "Install" button and save the app installer to your hard drive.
4. Tap and hold the file in the browser's Downloads window.
5. Tap "Open" and then tap "Install" to install the Emoji Codec free app to your Android device.
Apple
6. Open the iTunes store on your Apple device.
7. Search for the free "Emoji Free!" app.
8. Tap the "Free App" button and save the installation file to your device's memory.
9. Tap the downloaded installation file to install the Emoji Free! app to your device.
