Harley-Davidson Christmas Gifts
When it comes time to select a gift for a Harley-Davidson fan at Christmastime, consider avoiding the usual black T-shirts, helmet stickers and leather jacket patches usually associated with riding. Instead, take the rider's interests into account and with a few quick steps, offer an individualized gift that will be memorable for holidays to come.
Skins
When Harley-Davidson riders are not cruising on their bikes, chances are they may be plugged into some kind of electronic device. Why not "dress up" their laptop, cell phone, blue tooth or portable music player with a Harley-Davidson graphical skin? Skins are thin, light sticker overlays that are wrapped around the cover of the electronic device. They do not interfere with reception or use; they simply provide an attractive image over the plain casing shipped with the item. Choose standard Harley imagery such as the company logo, rising flames or skull or upload a custom image, such as a photo from your rider group's Christmas charity ride or a photo of the rider's children. Custom imagery is designed to fit each device and all artwork appears in vibrant colors.
Ornaments
Even while curled up under a blanket sipping peppermint hot chocolate, Harley-Davidson enthusiasts can enjoy the Christmas spirit with a tree decked out in biker ornaments. An incredible range of ornaments are available (consider purchasing a smaller tree to decorate solely in a complete theme of Harley-related items) including motorcycles, Harley-Davidson logo balls and bikers. Each year, the Harley-Davidson company also commissions an "ornament of the year" with different detailed bikes such as the V-Rod, Fat Boy and Softtail Rocker. Consider starting your biker on a collection; each year the ornament could be a stocking stuffer. Note that past years' ornaments often become valuable and hard to find.
Chocolate
Although there is no end to the supply of candy at Christmastime, step away from the usual candy canes and chocolate Santas and create something unusual for your Harley-Davidson fan with specialized candy molds. Available from most craft stores, light plastic molds sport cavities shaped like motorcycles. Simply melt chocolate (chocolate chips and baking squares work well) in the microwave, then pour into the cavities. Place in the fridge for a few moments while the chocolate hardens. Make a bunch and wrap up in a Christmas-themed bag or tuck into stockings. Enhance the Christmas theme by using green and red chocolate wafers (also available at craft stores).
