Radeon HD 2600 Pro graphics cards are manufactured by ATI Technologies (owned by AMD Corp.) and are capable of running Crossfire software that allows users to run multiple graphics cards inside a single computer. You may want to run Crossfire if you need additional graphics power for gaming or video processing tasks on your computer. You can install your Radeon HD 2600 Pro graphics card and its Crossfire drivers in 15 minutes.
Instructions
1. Unplug all accessories and cables from your computer. Open the case using the Phillips screwdriver and locate the black graphics card slots on your motherboard (called "PCI-Express" slots). Insert your Radeon HD 2600 Pro into one of the PCI-E slots until it clicks in. Connect the graphics card power cable to your computer's power supply, then close the case and reconnect the Phillips screws.
2. Turn on your computer and eject the CD tray. Insert the Radeon HD 2600 Pro drivers CD and close the tray. Accept the End User License Agreement (EULA) and click "Next" to install the graphics drivers for Crossfire on your computer. Wait for the install to finish then restart the computer.
3. Turn on the computer and locate the ATI graphics icon next to the system clock in the bottom-right corner of your screen. Right-click the icon and select "Crossfire" to verify the software drivers are working correctly on your computer.
