Milwaukee Rally
The Milwaukee Rally takes place over three days each year toward the end of summer. It consists of rides along the shore of Lake Michigan between Milwaukee and Manitowoc, about 75 miles north. Along the way are vendors serving food and drinks, events such as poker runs and live music in Milwaukee at the final area. House parties are held at night by event organizers and some bar sponsors open their doors to VIP ticket holders and attendees.

Stock Motorcycle NHRA Races
Stock motorcycle races take place regularly in Milwaukee as part of National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) races and events. Milwaukee is a regular stop on the tour and is known as a popular motorcycle town. These races often promote different types of motorcycles. For example, the Screamin' Eagle/Vance & Hines team rides American V-Twin-powered Harley-Davidson V-Rod motorcycles and won the Pro Stock Motorcycle division of the National Hot Rod Association's Full Throttle Drag Racing Series four of the six years between 2003 and 2009 in Milwaukee. Ice Racing
On Lily Lake in Kenosha, a suburb south of Milwaukee, winter is the best time for motorcycle racing. Riders race on the lake in the dead of winter, drawing racing fans and new spectators to watch and cheer them on. The tires of these bikes are outfitted with hundreds of screws, allowing them to dig in to the solid ice for better traction as they cruise at 60 mph around an oval track bordered by orange cones. The popularity of the sport has been surging each winter in southern Wisconsin.
