Produced by Harley-Davidson, the Ultra Classic Electra Glide is one of the most luxurious touring motorcycles on the market. These bikes, also known as a dressers, are meant for long-distance riding, so they are specially equipped with large windshields, wide fairings, high capacity fuel tanks and comfortable upright seats to accommodate riders on long journeys. The Electra Glide was introduced in 1965.
Engine
The 2007 Ultra Classic sports a two-cylinder, four-stroke V-twin engine with a four-valve overhead camshaft and an air cooling system. Displacing 96 cubic inches, this motor offers 92.6 ft.-lbs. of torque. It has a bore and stroke of 3.6 and 4.4 inches with a compression ratio of 9.2:1. An ESPFI fuel injector, a six-speed transmission and a chrome exhaust system are also standard features of this engine. It has a fuel efficiency of 45 miles per gallon with a fuel tank that can hold 5 gallons; the bike emits 121.1 grams of carbon dioxide per kilometer.
Dimensions
Weighing 840 pounds, fully loaded with oil and gas, the Ultra Classic is 98.3 inches long with a wheelbase of 63.5 inches in length and a seat height of 30.7 inches. It clears the ground by 5.1 inches.
Tires, Brakes and Suspension
In the front, the 2007 Ultra Classic uses MT90B16-72H tires with dual disc brakes. In the rear, it has MU85B16-77H tires with single disc brakes. The suspension travel is 4.6 inches in the front and 3 inches in the rear, and the rear suspension is air-adjustable.

The 2007 Ultra Classic offers several amenities for the long-distance rider: a Harman/Kardon CD/Radio/WB/MP3 Advanced Audio System, storage compartments in the vented lower fairings, lockable GTX nylon saddlebags, custom-fit luggage liners, a backrest and comfort-stitched seat, full instrumentation, a CB and an intercom with CB controls for the second passenger and cruise control.
