Does A Dell 1200mp Projector Support Dvi

The Dell 1200MP projector features a 2100:1 contrast ratio and can display 16.7 million colors at a maximum image resolution of 1400-by-1050 pixels. It provides VGA, component and composite video connections, but does not support DVI.

Benefits

Dell designed the 1200MP projector for use with analog video sources, including computers, DVD players and VCRs. It displays standard-definition videos up to 576p in resolution, and high-definition videos up to 720p. This projector does not support 1080p high-definition video, and is not compatible with newer, HD-only devices.

Compatibility

The Dell 1200MP connects to computers and peripherals equipped with a VGA interface. You also can connect the projector to DVD players, VCRs and other video sources using its component and composite video connections. It is not compatible with DVI-only devices.

Considerations

The 1200MP does not support computers, Blu-ray players and HD-DVD players that require a digital interface such as DVI or HDMI. These video devices use digital signals to output 1080p high-definition video, and are not compatible with this analog-only projector. Purchase the 1200MP only if you intend to use it with standard DVD players, VCRs and computers equipped with analog video outputs.
