Lake Santeetlah is a popular spot for fishing.
Lake Santeetlah was formed in 1928 when the Santeetlah Dam was constructed. The lake consists of 76 miles of mostly naturally forested shoreline. The lake holds a variety of fish including small mouth bass, largemouth bass, walleye, crappie and lake trout. The closest motels to the are located in the small nearby town of Robinsville.
