The stock 2006 Harley-Davidson Sportster features Dunlop tires, a 21-inch front laced wheel and cast aluminum disc rear wheel. While this is an aesthetically pleasing combination that provides optimum performance right from the factory, there are several options available for aftermarket tires and Harley-Davidson rims.
Dunlop Tires

A low rolling resistance keeps the casing cool for a long life, yet soft enough to yield to high levels of grip.
Metzeler Tires
The Metzeler Lasertec tire is made with advanced silica compounds that reduce rolling resistance, which in turn increases mileage. Designed for exceptional braking performance, the Lasertec tread pattern provides optimal water drainage thus reducing the occurrence of hydroplaning. The Lasertec tire handles wet and dry surfaces equally well.
Harley-Davidson Rims
