The Harley Davidson Fat Boy is a cruiser motorcycle introduced to riders in 1990. It continues to be offered today. Contributing to its cruiser style is a long wheelbase, chrome trim, low seat height and a large engine. Like many of Harley's cruisers, it is equipped with their proprietary "Softail" suspension, which uses a set of dual adjustable rear shocks in its suspension design.

Performance Specifications
The 63-hp engine in the 2000 Fat Boy is capable of taking riders to a maximum speed of 106 mph. The relatively high torque levels help push it from 0 to 60 mph in 7.2 seconds. Braking power is provided by a single disc brake mounted at the rear of the motorcycle's frame.
