Comedy Clubs in York, Pennsylvania
Located in south central Pennsylvania, not far from the Maryland border, York touts itself as the "Factory Tour Capital of the World." But there is far more to this small city than tours of the Harley Davidson Motorcyle Company and the nearby Hershey Chocolate World. In fact, there's plenty to laugh about in York. The area hosts several comedy clubs and theaters where you can have a fun and memorable night of comedy.
Pullo Center
Located on Penn State University's York satellite campus, the Pullo Family Center for the Performing Arts features a 1,000-seat theater and hosts all kinds of concerts, plays, musicals, and live performers-including comedians. Comedians to have graced the stage there include Tracy Morgan of "Saturday Night Live" and "30 Rock" fame. Harrisburg Comedy Zone
From York, head north on Interstate 83 for about half an hour to get to the Harrisburg Comedy Zone, located at Doc Holiday's Steakhouse and Saloon and the Harrisburg West Inn and Conference Center. The Comedy Zone offers three-act shows Friday and Saturday nights (8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.) that feature nationally known headliners. The room seats 175 people, and along with great comedy, you're in for some of central Pennsylvania's finest steaks, ribs, and seafood from Doc Holidays. Dinner and show packages are available, along with dinner, show, and hotel packages.

Stitches Comedy Club
About 40 minutes east of York, across the Susquehanna River, Stitches Comedy Club in Lancaster has hosted top national comedians for more than 20 years. Recently, the club moved to a new location at the Lancaster Host Resort, across the street from its former location. The club holds more than 200 people in its non-smoking room, and there are three shows every weekend-at 9 p.m. on Fridays and 8 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. on Saturdays. Reservations are suggested. A full cocktail menu and light-fare menu are available. You must be 21 years old to enter the club.
