The Harley-Davidson FLSTF 1340 Fat Boy is a heavyweight class, custom-cruiser type Softail motorcycle. The classically styled street bike features lots of chrome trim and heavy-duty touring style front forks. The motorcycle is designed for comfortable highway riding.


Engine


The 1995 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy has a 1338cc, 45-degree, big V-twin air-cooled engine with four valves. Its bore and stroke is 3.5 inches by 4.25 inches with an 8.5:1 compression ratio. The four-stroke overhead-valve engine generates 48 horsepower at 4,900 rpm with 63.7 ft-lbs of torque at 2,400 rpm. It uses a capacitive discharge ignition system.


Chassis


The 1995 Fat Boy has a steel double-cradle frame. It uses a manual five-speed transmission with a wet, multiple-disc, cable-operated clutch. The bike has electric start and a Kevlar belt final drive. It rides on front cartridge forks with a rear swingarm mono-shock. It has single-disc front and rear brakes.
