Digital Media Schools

Digital media is a popular degree program in the U.S.

Digital media schools offer undergraduate and graduate degrees in digital media. Degrees in this field can help graduates obtain jobs in different film industry positions, creative digital art, animation and more. Schools with digital media programs are relatively easy to find and prospective students can choose between a variety of schools to apply.

UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television

The UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television offers a Bachelor of Arts in Film, Television and Digital Media and a few different master's degrees that focus on different types of digital media. The Bachelor of Arts program takes two years of study once two years of general studies are completed at the undergraduate college level. According to the school's website, the undergraduate program is ranked No. 1 in the country by the Princeton Review. Students cannot start college with admission to the program; they apply after getting close to completing two years of general undergraduate studies. The program is competitive and demanding, and seniors must complete at least one professional internship to graduate. Available master's degrees include an MA in Cinema and Media Studies and a PhD in Cinema and Media Studies. Applicants to these programs must have an undergraduate degree in the field.
