Remove A Band From A Bulova Watch

The Bulova Watch Company has been producing popular luxury timepieces since 1911. Many Bulova wrist watch models feature a user-replaceable band, known as E-Z Band, that allows wearers to swap out their watch bands in less than a minute. E-Z Bands are found on watches from Bulova's Accutron, Wittnauer, Harley Davidson and Caravelle collections; they are also installed on various Bulova chronographs. Removing an E-Z Band from a Bulova watch requires no special tools or previous experience. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Place a soft optical or watch-cleaning cloth on a flat, stable surface such as a table or countertop. Lay your Bulova watch face-down in the center of the protective cloth.

2. Note the placement of the sliding switches on the backs of the links that connect the band to the watch case.

3. Use the same process to remove the band from both sides of the Bulova watch case. Slide the switch toward the left watch lug as far as it will go while simultaneously lifting the right edge of the band up and away from the right lug; the band will come free.
