Install a 3/4 Helmet Face Shield
Three-quarter shell helmets are very popular with cruiser riders, who favor the feeling of the open road with the wind of their faces. These helmets provide protection for the wearer's head, leaving only the face unprotected from rain, dirt, and road debris. To remedy this, many of these open-face helmets accept universal snap-on face shields, which are available in fixed and flip-up variations. Installing these shields is simple and can be done in less than a minute.
Instructions
1. Remove the original sun visor by pulling the snap buttons off one at a time.
2. Clean the newly-exposed surface of the helmet with mild soap and water to remove any dirt that may have been trapped under the visor. Wipe the helmet dry with a microfiber cloth.
3. Attach the face shield to the helmet, pressing the shield's snap buttons onto the buttons on the helmet's surface. If you are installing a flip-up shield, test the shield's range of motion by swiveling the shield up and down.
4. Clean the inner and outer surface of the face shield using an anti-fog cleaning spray to remove any finger prints and wipe dry with a microfiber cloth.
