Harley Davidson Night Train Specifications

The Harley-Davidson Night Train motorcycle is a member of the motorcycle maker's Softail family of bikes featuring shock absorbers on the rear. The bike mimics the style of the classic Harleys but offers a more comfortable ride with a contemporary suspension system.


Power


The 2007 Harley-Davidson FXSTB Softail Night Train is equipped with an air-cooled fuel-injected 1573 cc (96 cubic inches) V-Twin, four-stroke engine with a 9.2:1 compression ratio. The bore and stroke is 3.8 and 4.4 inches, respectively. The engine generates 87.9 ft.-lb. of torque. A six-speed belt-driven transmission transmits the power from the engine to the wheels. The engine starts with an electric starter.


Frame and Brakes


The rake of the front fork sits at a 32-degree angle. The front and rear brakes are single discs. The front tire measure 100/90-H19 in the front and the rear wheel is 2 inches smaller in diameter at 200/55-R17.


Dimensions


The bike weighs 656 lbs. without liquids and 682 lbs. when loaded with oil and gasoline. The seat rises 26.8 inches above the ground and the overall length is 95 inches. The frame clears 5.1 inches from the ground. The wheelbase measures 64.5 inches long. The fuel tank holds 5 gallons.
