Biker Clubs In New York

Biker Clubs in New York

There are many biker clubs in the New York area for those who are just casual motorcycle fans looking to spend time with other casual motorcycle fans, to law enforcement bike riders who join together to do charity work. While some clubs have preferences on the people that join and the types of motorcycles they ride, others are more open to whoever simply wants to join.

Queensboro Motorcycle Club

The oldest club of its kind in New York City, the Queensboro Motorcycle club began in 1910. It has its own clubhouse where it holds weekly meetings as well as special events. Its Halloween and Christmas parties are a big draw for the public, who are also invited to attend club meetings. The club holds charity events for the community as well as for larger motorcycle issues, such as when the club backed the inception of the Long Island Motorcycle Association.

South Shore Motorcycle Club

In 1931 this club was founded by a group of motorcycle racing enthusiasts. Over the years the aim of most members has shifted from racing to road riding, though they are also into sport bikes, touring bikes and cruisers. The club goes out for a ride en masse every weekend and invites members of the public to come along.
