Indoor Water Parks In The Dallas Area

Indoor water parks provide year-round entertainment for the entire family.

While patrons can enjoy outdoor water parks only during the summer months, indoor water parks provide year-round amusement for guests. Of the two indoor parks in Texas, one is close to Dallas: Great Wolf Lodge, a combination water park and resort located half an hour's drive from downtown Dallas.

Waterpark

With themed activity pools and kiddie slides for juvenile guests, and full-sized water slides, lazy rivers, and hot tubs for teens and adults, the indoor water park at Great Wolf Lodge features many amusement options for the entire family.

Resort

Guests can receive pampering facials, manicures, and more at the Lodge's spa.

In addition to its "wet and wild" activities, the Lodge has many drier features. Casual restaurants, fast-food options, and a bar and grille provide a multitude of dining options. A fitness room, teen-geared tech center with video games and music, gift shops, group bedtime stories for young children, and spas for both adults and kids round out the resort experience.

Considerations

The waterpark at Great Wolf Lodge is open only to guests staying at the resort, although visitor passes are available for individuals wishing to visit friends or relatives who are staying at the resort. According to its website, Great Wolf Lodge has hotel rooms and certain parts of the waterpark that are wheelchair-accessible. Rooms at the resort have a base occupancy of four, and the largest rooms sleep up to eight guests.
