Harley-Davidson introduced its first motorcycle to the public in 1903. Five years later, in 1908, the company began producing road bikes for police use. The 2007 Harley-Davidson Road King continues a long line of high-performance motorcycles for use by law enforcement.
Engine
The 2007 HD Road King police bike features an oil-cooled, Twin Cam 103 engine that offers a displacement of 1,690 cubic centimeters. The torque measures 102 foot-pounds at 2,500 rpm. The 2007 Road King provides a 9.6 compression ratio and a bore and stroke of 3.88 and 4.38 inches, respectively.

Performance
The six-speed Road King features an electronic sequential port fuel injection system with a five-gallon fuel tank.
