Instructions
1. Locate the option code for 6-Cyl engine on a pad behind the distributor on right side of block and for the V-8 engine on the block in front of the right hand cylinder head.
2. Locate the transmission option code for 3-Speed Manual on rear face of upper right corner and for 4-Speed manual on boss on lower left side of case just below side cover.
3. Locate the Powerglide (Corvair) option code on top of the case in the rear at 11 o'clock and for the Powerglide option code on the bottom of oil pan.
4. Locate the axle code on the axle tube, adjacent to the carrier, for identification of divisional manufacturer code letters or on the left rear axle tube on the rear side for letters and numerals outboard of carrier.
