The Street Bob is a Harley-Davidson with a unique look.
The 2006 Street Bob is a cruiser meant to turn heads. Riders in the middle of the 20th century would occasionally remove some of the chrome bodywork from their bikes to create a new look with a little more speed; this inspired the design of the 2006 Street Bob.
Engine
The Street Bob has a V2, four-stroke air-cooled engine that displaces 1442.15 cc. The bore is 3.8 inches, the stroke is 4.0 inches and the compression ratio is 8.9:1. The engine delivers power through a six-speed, belt-driven transmission system.
Horsepower and Performance
Harley-Davidson generally does not publish horsepower figures; testing by Motorcycle Consumer News puts the rear-wheel horsepower of the 2006 Street Bob at 59.7. The Street Bob has a top speed of 116 mph and goes from 0 to 60 mph in 5.58 seconds.
Brakes and Wheels
The front tire measures 100/90-19, while the rear tire dimensions are 160/70-B17. Single-disc brakes are fitted front and rear.
Dimensions
The Street Bob is 92.8 inches in length, has a ground clearance of 5.6 inches and a wheelbase of 64.2 inches. The fuel capacity is 4.7 gallons. The dry weight of the cruiser is a hefty 634 lbs.
