Boot your computer in Safe Mode to get rid of the Temp2.Exe virus.
When your computer becomes infected with the Temp2.Exe virus, you will see a message every time you try to boot your computer saying, "c:\windows\system32\temp2.exe caused a problem would you like to save a dump file." Viruses like this make themselves tricky to remove by preventing you from accessing Windows normally. The trick is to bypass this by starting your computer in "Safe Mode," from where you can access a tool to remove the virus for good.
Instructions
1. Start your computer in Safe Mode by pressing the F8 key repeatedly as you start your machine. If your machine still starts normally despite the virus, you can skip this step.
2. Run Microsoft's "Malicious Software Removal Tool." To do so, select "Run" from the Start menu and then type "MRT." This tool comes already installed on Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Windows Server 2003 computers. If the virus prevents you from accessing your Start menu, download a new copy of the program from Microsoft.
3. Click "Next."
4. Select "Full Scan." Though this option takes more time than the "Quick Scan" default, it is also more likely to destroy the virus.
5. Click "Next" and wait for the scan to finish.
6. Follow the prompts to remove the Temp2.Exe virus.
Transporting motorcycles saves wear and tear as well as time.
Transporting an expensive motorcycle across the country instead of riding it may be the best option, as long as you know the insurance requirements before you sign a contract with a company or decide to transport the motorcycle yourself. Liability costs are one thing, especially if you are hauling it on a trailer, but you also want to make certain that you have your motorcycle fully insured against any damages that it could sustain in transit.
Liability Insurance
If you decide to transport the motorcycle yourself by towing it behind a car or truck, your regular insurance may provide sufficient coverage. Check with your agent to see if you would be covered if the cycle comes loose and falls off the trailer in traffic, damaging other vehicles and potentially causing bodily harm to other motorists. You may wish to increase the dollar amount of your liability just for the duration of your transport.
Damages
The collision insurance you already carry on your motorcycle may or may not cover damages that could happen while you are transporting it on a trailer. Make sure that you have enough insurance to replace your motorcycle in case it gets totaled in transit. You may also wish to lower your deductible for the period of the transport, to reduce out-of-pocket expense if the bike gets damaged.
Second-Party Insurance
If you hire a company to transport your motorcycle, ask for a copy of its cargo protection policy, required by law. Let the company know your insurance requirements in order to use its service. If the company does not guarantee replacement of your bike if it is destroyed in transit, or repair of any damages sustained, and if your own insurance policy will not cover it, keep looking for other options.
Read the Fine Print
Is the motorcycle you will be transporting custom-built or modified? Some insurance companies such as State Farm stipulate that its coverage is only for "factory-built" motorcycles. Others will pay only for depreciated value rather than actual value if your bike is destroyed in transit. Make certain that you have enough coverage to replace or repair your bike for the full amount, whatever happens.
Transporting Motorcycles to Another Country
If you make a motorcycle transaction with someone from another country, you need to provide proof of ownership in order to transport the bike to its new home. Harley-Davidson provides documentation for international transport as a service to its customers. It also recommends specific carriers for domestic and international motorcycle transport who will insure your bike door-to-door during the transit. It will even provide pick-up and delivery service, as well as allow you to track your bike during transport.
Preparing Your Motorcyle for Transport
Before a motorcycle can be safely transported, its gas tank must be emptied as well as its saddlebags. Choose a transport company that uses lift gates rather than loading ramps, especially if your bike weighs several hundred lbs. Also make sure that the company's insurance covers any damages that may occur to your bike while it is being loaded or unloaded.

Until recently, satellite television was an expensive luxury item, particularly for RVs. Roof-mounted dishes were prohibitively expensive and portable units nearly unheard of. Satellite installers scratched their heads and looked confused and were often not mollified until they were assured that the RV was a fixed dwelling complete with a telephone line (used for communication between the receiver and the satellite company). By 2009, satellite television companies began to realize the buying power of the RV market. Today, satellite TV is an inexpensive and practical solution for many RV owners.
Instructions
1. Decide which type of satellite dish you want. Roof-mounted systems are the priciest choice, particularly those that feature automatic adjustment. They are difficult to install, but easy to set up and use at each RV park. If you park underneath trees, however, they may be unable to pick up a signal.
A slim-line dish and portable mast is the most economical and practical solution for those who want to use the system in areas where the line of sight is blocked. However, you must have the ability to store both the dish and the mast for traveling, and this type of system can be complicated to set up at each new park. Stake the mast to the ground or sand bag it in case of wind or storms.
A newer option is the all-in-one VuQube 1000. Self contained in a rugged plastic cube, the dish can be placed on a picnic table, camp chair or even the ground. Reasonably priced and easy to use, the dish is popular. However, it is the only one of the three systems that is not available in an HD version for all satellite providers.
2. Drill a hole for the coaxial cable that will run from the receiver to the dish. If an existing hole is available, use that hole instead. Be careful to avoid your holding tanks, furnace and other external parts of your RV.
3. Connect the dish to the receiver with RG-6 coaxial cable. This is a stronger version of the household coaxial cable used to connect to a cable service, and is available at any hardware store. Caulk around the wires to seal the opening against moisture and pests.
4. Connect the receiver to the television. RGA cables and S-video connections are two possibilities. If you have an HDTV and HD satellite service, consider using an HDMI cable instead. Although slightly more expensive, HDMI cables transmit digital sound and picture of the highest quality. If you do not want to invest in HDMI, component cables are the next best option.
5. Use the satellite receiver's on-screen display to determine the coordinates for your dish's azimuth, elevation and tilt settings. These numbers will change as you move to different RV parks. Use either the on-screen display or a satellite signal meter to fine-tune the dish alignment.

Hog calling is the ability to successfully imitate the sounds made by hogs. Hog calling can serve a purpose in the call of swine to dinner (or, in the case of Arkansas Razorbacks fans, showing support for their home team) but it is usually only performed recreationally. Periodically, certain events, particularly county fairs in regions known for the raising of pigs, will hold hog calling contest, in which a panel of judges rates contestants on their mimicry ability. While fairly free-form, these contests do usually have certain rules.
Time Limit
Contestants are generally given only a set amount of time in which to make their hog calls. The time allowed varies: while 30 seconds is a standard length, some county fairs allow longer intervals. For those contests without time limits, the duration of the call can itself be a quality upon which the contestants will be judged, with loud calls of sustained duration rewarded with more points.
Creativity
One of the primary criteria upon which contestants are judged is creativity. While the contestant should seek to render a precise imitation of the hog's call, the exact type of cry is left to the entrant's discretion. According to The Hog Book by William Hedgepeth, the most common call is "SOOO-o-oeeyyy," but in parts of the lower Midwest "Who-o-eyyy" is a common variant. It should be noted that while certain contests champion extra-vocal creativity, such as the wearing of costumes and the bearing of props, other contests frown upon such accessorizing.
Loudness and Clarity
In a shift from hog calling's origins, most competitive hog calling is now amplified with the use of a microphone. However, contestants are still judged on their ability to enunciate their calls clearly and loudly. Ideally, no matter the size of the crowd or the location of the contest the hog calling champion should make the use of a microphone effectively redundant. As Hedgepeth says, "the call must be strong enough to be discernible to the hog from behind a bush across a 40-acre clover field."
Audience Excitement
There are two schools of thought on the effect that audience reaction should have upon the judges' rating of a particular contestant. In the first, the reaction of the audience is incidental and has no effect on the contestant's score. In the second, the excitement of the audience weighs heavily on the contestant's score.
Eligibility
Most contests divide contestants by age groups, with children entering into one event and adults another. However, certain contests mix all contestants into one competition.

There's no question Ford had a winner with the Super Duty 7.3L diesel, made from 1999-2003. Here are a few tips to think about when looking for a used one. Take it from someone who's owned one for many years!
Instructions
1. Automatic Transmission-The earlier models had transmission problems. The transmission would run hot and burn up. Ford had a pro-active service bulletin and would fix the problem for free. The 1999 and some 2000 models did not have transmission cooling lines to the radiator, so Ford replaced the radiator, added cooling lines, plus a ton of other small parts. If you find an older model that has not had this change, it will set you back several hundred dollars to do so.
2. Water Pump-Coolant puddles under the vehicle after being parked. The seals go bad in the water pump and coolant leaks out of the water pump weep hole. It is a pretty big job to replace the water pump if you've never done it before and will cost $200-300, since you'll probably want to replace the hoses, coolant sensor, serpentine belt, etc. Plan on spending a lot more if you have a repair shop do it.
3. Fuel Drain Petcock-Fuel will leak from the fuel filter housing. The "O" rings in the fuel petcock located on the back of the fuel filter housing will need replacing. The repair will only cost a few cents and about an hour of your time to fix.
4. Rear Brake Calipers-The rear brake calipers stick and the rear pads will wear out prematurely. If you don't catch this in time the disc brake rotors will need replacing also. In 120,000 miles I had replaced the rear calipers and pads twice. If you do it yourself and use discount parts it will run you about $130-150. If you have a repair shop do the repairs prepare to pay 2 or 3 times that.
5. Starter Motor-At about 100,000 miles I thought my batteries needed replacing. The starter got progressively more sluggish as time when on. Eventually nothing happened when I turned the key. Turns out the brushes in the starter had completely worn out. I took the starter to a shop and had it rebuilt for half the cost of a new starter ($85), and still got a lifetime warranty.
6. Camshaft Sensor-These go bad at about 100,000 miles. When it does you'll know it. You'll go from running nice & smooth at 70 mph to not running at all. The replacement camshaft sensor is about $30. Get one from the Ford dealer. My truck was out of warranty and Ford still replaced it for free. The ones from the discount auto parts stores are a couple dollars cheaper, but they are not as good. Before I went to the dealer, I tried a 2 different sensors from the discount places. One made the truck hard to start, the other would start okay but it ran rough. Just get one from Ford and save yourself the trouble.
7. Speed Sensor-If you happen to test drive a model with non-working cruise control, the overdrive light flashing, and a non-working speedometer below 40 mph, don't let that be a deal breaker. The culprit is a $30 speed sensor, located on the rear axle. Takes about 15 minutes to replace.
8. Tires-A set of good tires for a dually will set you back $1200, about $800 for a standard model. If you find a nice example with good rubber you will be several hundred dollars ahead.
9. Fuel Mileage-These trucks are known for their excellent fuel mileage. Mine gets 23-24 mpg on the highway.
10. Modifications-A lot of these trucks have been modified over the years. Exhaust systems, turbos, computer chips, lift kits. Unless you know a reputable shop has made these modification, beware of these vehicles.

Longview Lake RV site (no website; 22401 SW Woods Chapel Road, Blue Springs; 816-503-4800) is a 25-minute drive from Kansas City center and has a number of recreational facilities on-site, including a lake for fishing and boating, golf and a playground. Trailside RV Park (trvpark.com) in Grain Valley is a 30-minute drive from Kansas City center and is close to Burr Oak Woods Conservation area (mdc.mo.gov) and Lake Tapawingo (laketapawingomo.org).
Camping Sites
Many camping grounds in and around the Kansas City area also have RV parking areas. Saddlebags have provided mobile storage for centuries.
Most motorcycles have little room for storage. If you plan on using your Harley Davidson 883 Sportster as an alternative to a car for commuting or long-distance travel, some type of storage system is a must. Saddlebags are often one of the first accessories motorcyclists buy and one of the most expensive. There are three basic types of saddlebags: hard, leather and synthetic.
Hard Saddlebags
Hard saddlebags are usually made from molded plastic or fiberglass. The advantages to hard saddlebags are they provide superior protection for their contents and they can usually be matched to the exact color of your 883 Sportster. The major disadvantage to hard saddlebags is that they are expensive and often cost more than $1,000. Harley Davidson offers color-matched hard saddlebags for most model years of the 883 Sportster. A number of other manufacturers make hard saddlebags that will fit the 883 Sportster. These include Tsukayu, Champion, Corbin, Givi and National Cycle. Synthetic Saddlebags
Synthetic saddlebags for the 883 Sportster offer a less-expensive alternative to leather. Grounding an antenna or cable is important to avoid any power surges or lightening strikes. The process of grounding is connecting the cable to a cable block, which has a separate wire running to a grounding rod that is driven into the ground. This process will safely discharge an electrical surge harmlessly into the ground and help prevent it from damaging the home's electrical system or electronics.
Instructions
1. Locate the area where the cable from the TV exits the home. This is where you will mount the grounding block and rod.
2. Hammer the grounding rod into the ground about six to eight inches away from the exterior wall. This will allow you to avoid hitting the concrete foundation. Drive the rod into the ground until there are six inches of the end left sticking out.
3. Attach the grounding block to the exterior wall using the screwdriver and included screws.
4. Slide one end of the copper wire through the labeled hole on the grounding block and tighten the screw down to hold it in place. Stretch the wire out to reach the grounding rod. Wrap the wire around the end of the rod and secure it in place with the hose clamp. Cut away any excess copper wire.
5. Screw the connector on the end of the cable from the antenna into the labeled "antenna in" connector on the grounding block. Screw the connector on the end of the cable from the TV to the labeled "antenna out" connector on the grounding block.
The Nintendo Wii is a hugely popular gaming console that has brought video games into the lives and living rooms of many people who never knew they liked video games. However, with this large intake of new adopters come technical issues that may be new to many players. One of these issues is black and white display on some or all games. A variety of factors can cause your Nintendo Wii to display pictures in black and white, but these can be easily troubleshooted.
Instructions
1. Check to ensure that all cables connecting the Nintendo Wii to your television are securely plugged in. A weak connection can cause color information to transmit sporadically or not at all. Unplug the Stereo A/V cable from the back of your Wii and from the A/V or Component plugs of your television, then reconnect.
2. Check your television's "System" menu to ensure that the screen is set to correctly display the picture from your make of Nintendo Wii. If your Wii was purchased in North America or Asia, ensure that your television is set to "NTSC." If it was purchased in Europe or the Pacific, your television must be set to "PAL."
3. Ensure that your Wii is set to display a picture your television can process. If you are using a composite video cable (one yellow video plug with red and white audio plugs), the console must be set to "Standard TV (480i)." If you are using component video (red, blue and green video plugs with red and white audio plugs), the console should be set to "EDTV or HDTV (480p)." Check this setting by clicking the "Wii" button at the lower left corner of the main menu then selecting the "Wrench" icon. Choose "Screen," then "Screen Resolution." If your television displays color in "Standard TV" but not "EDTV or HDTV" mode, the set cannot support the higher resolution and must be used in "Standard TV" mode.
4. Ensure the slider box on the Wii's component video cables is set to the right setting. If you are using five-plug component video cables, follow them behind the television to the slider box near the cables' end. There will be a switch marked "TV/HDTV." This should be set to "HDTV" unless you have determined that your television does not support this format using the procedure outlined in Step 3.
5. Ensure you are playing a game with color output. Some Wii games, such as "MadWorld" and "Bit.Trip," use color sparingly or not at all. If you can see color in all but a few Wii games, the issue may not be a technical issue of the console but a feature of the game.

Timing refers to the amount of time between the spark plug sparking and fuel ignition.
A shovelhead engine is a V-Twin Harley-Davidson engine that was produced from 1966 to 1985. The name shovel comes from the coal shovel-like shape of the engine covers. When the timing is not correct, the engine can fail. Timing refers to the amount of time that occurs between the spark plug sparking and the fuel in the engine igniting. A timing mark view plug tests engine timing. The view plug flashes a light on the timing tab when the pistons of the engine's cylinder reach the highest point of the compression stroke.
Instructions
1. Insert the thread timing mark view plug in the timing inspection hole. Do not touch the flywheel with the plug.
2. Remove the spark plugs. Turn the engine until the front piston is at top dead center on the upward compression stroke of the cylinder piston. Examine the top dead center mark on the flywheel.
3. Connect the leads of the inductive timing light to the front spark plug cable, the positive terminal of the battery, and the ground lead. Check the vacuum hose to make sure that it is connected at the carburetor and the vacuum operated electric switch.
4. Turn the engine on and allow the motorcycle to warm up to normal running temperature.
5. Set the engine's idle speed by turning the idle adjustment screw, located on the carburetor. Turn it clockwise to increase the speed. Turn it counterclockwise to decrease it. The idle speed should be somewhere between 950 and 1050 RPM.
6. Remove the outer cover pop rivets. Remove the outer timer cover. Remove the inner cover screws, inner cover and gasket. Loosen the timer plate stud bolts a few turns until the sensor assembly can be rotated when you insert a screwdriver into the notch in the plate.
7. Aim the timing light at the inspection hole. Rotate the sensor assembly with the screwdriver so that you can see the front cylinder advance timing mark. Center the mark in the timing inspection hole. Tighten the timer plate studs.
8. Reinstall the gasket, inner cover, inner cover screws and timer cover. Install the new outer cover rivets. Remove the timing mark view plug from the timing inspection hole. Install the hex socket timing plug.

Harley Bright metal polish isn't just for your Harley Davidson.
Harley Bright metal polish is used to polish the metal parts, including the headlights, badges and handle bars of motorcycles. Applying the compound correctly will add a shine to these pieces and make the bike look almost brand new. The polish will not only provide a luster to the bike; it will also help repel dust, dirt and bugs.
Instructions
1. Wipe off any metal, such as chrome or aluminum, pieces you wish to polish, with a soft cloth. A small amount of soapy water can be used to clean the bike, if there is any dirt or mud.
2. Park the bike in a shady area. A cool day that has low humidity is ideal.
3. Apply a small amount of the polishing compound with a soft cloth. Work the compound into the metal parts using overlapping circular motions.
4. Wipe away the polish with a second soft cloth, once the area is completely covered and cleaned. Make sure to remove all of the polish, as any left behind can lead to streaking.
5. Cover the area with sealant, such as Harley Glaze Sealant. Wipe the sealant onto the freshly polished metal with a soft cloth.
6. Allow the bike to remain in the shady area for three to four hours after polishing.

Any standard hard drive can be used to replace a TiVo's video recorder.
It is possible to replace the hard drive in a TiVo with any standard, off the shelf hard drive. It may be be necessary to replace the hard drive in a TiVo digital video recorder if the original drive begins to fail, won't boot or becomes unresponsive. Replacing the hard drive with a larger drive is also a cheap way to increase the number of hours of programming the TiVo can record for later viewing, without having to purchase a new TiVo.

InstantCake
1. Find the exact model number of the TiVo with the hard drive being replaced.
2. Go to DVRupgrade.com and go to the InstantCake page.
3. Order the InstantCake software for the specific TiVo model that is having its hard drive replaced. The InstantCake software, which is licensed by TiVo, will only work for the exact model it was designed for. The InstantCake software can only be purchased from dvrupgrade.com as a digital download or a physical CD.
4. Download the software and burn the InstantCake disc image to a blank CD. If this is not possible, the software can be delivered on a CD in the mail.
5. Wait for the CD to arrive if a physical disc was ordered.
Remove Hard Drive
6. Always unplug electronic devices before opening them to avoid electric shocks.
Unplug your TiVo digital video recorder.
7. Remove the top casing of the TiVo. Depending on which model is being upgraded, there may be screws on the sides and bottom of the device. Once the screws are removed, the top of the case should slide off easily. If there is any resistance, check for screws that may have been missed.
8. Locate the hard drive and disconnect the power and data cable.
9. Unscrew any screws holding the hard drive in place, and remove the hard drive from the TiVo.
Use InstantCake
10. Disconnect any hard drives currently installed in the computer.
11. Setup the computer so that the CD-ROM drive is set as the primary slave. This is done by changing the jumper on the back of the CD-ROM drive. On the back of the CD-ROM drive there is a set of 6 pins, configured in two rows of three pins each. There is a a piece of plastic jumper connecting one of the rows of pins. To set the drive as primary slave, use a pair of tweezers to remove the jumper and replace it so it covers the middle two pins. (See the first link under Resources for more information about correctly setting the jumper.)
12. Disconnect any other CD or DVD drives connected to your computer.
13. Configure the computer to boot from the CD-ROM drive. This can usually be done by configuring the computer's BIOS settings. The BIOS settings are usually accessed by pressing a specific key when the computer is booting. On many systems the default key is "Delete."
14. Connect the replacement hard drive to the computer's second IDE interface. Using the same process used to configure the CD-ROM drive to slave master, set the jumper on the replacement hard drive to "master." The correct row of pins for the master setting may be different depending on the hard drive manufacturer, but the master setting is usually labeled as "MA". If there are no labels for the jumper pins, consult the hard drive's manufacturer's website for further information on the correct jumper settings.
15. Connect the power cables to the hard drive and CD-ROM drive.
16. Boot the computer, follow any prompts and instructions that the InstantCake software displays. When the process is finished, turn off the computer, unplug it and remove the hard drive.
Reassembly
17.Install the replacement hard drive into the TiVo.
18. Reconnect the power and data cable to the replacement hard drive.
19. Replace the TiVo's casing, being sure to replace all the screws that were removed during the removal of the original hard drive.
20. Turn the TiVo on.
21. After the TiVo has booted, navigate to system information to view the new drive's capacity.

1. Search the Internet for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. There are many websites dedicated to Harley-Davidson enthusiasts. HDforums.com provides you with a substantial amount of information and opinions from Harley owners and allows you to participate in discussions. You can find reviews and comparisons of Harley-Davidson motorcycles at Motorcycle.com. The Harley-Davidson website lets you search for used Harleys.
2. Consult the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) guides website for a guideline as to how much the motorcycle you want will cost. NADA sets the value on vehicles based partially on information gained from sales transactions of vehicles. Values can change from month to month, depending on how often information becomes available. From the NADA website, click on "Motorcycle" and then "Motorcycle Values." Select the manufacturer, year and model and any options included on the motorcycle. Click "Get Used Value." This will give you the low, average and suggested retail listing prices you need to be able to negotiate a fair price.
3. Visit your local Harley-Davidson dealership. You can find your local dealership by going to the Harley-Davidson website and clicking on "Dealer Locator." At the dealership, you'll find several used Harleys for sale. Look for extras that come with the purchase, such as a custom exhaust, saddlebags or special editions of the motorcycle. Of course, if you have mechanical skills, you may be able to purchase a motorcycle with minor mechanical problems at a lower price than those you would find on the showroom floor.
4. Look in your local newspaper's classified section for used Harley-Davidson motorcycles for sale. Ask the seller outright if he's looking for a fast sale. If so, he'll be more likely to negotiate on the price. Don't make a deal if he doesn't have the title in hand.

Coachmen ultra light trailers provide traveling abodes.
Coachmen was founded in 1964 by Claude, Keith and Tom Corson; the company has grown into a Fortune 500 company. Its 2011 lineup of ultra-light travel trailers consists of the Freedom Express and Apex group of travel trailers. Both lines of travel trailer match various size requirements for RV enthusiasts.
Dimensions
The longest 2011-model Freedom Express travel trailer measures 35 feet 7 inches for the 310BHDS; the trailer with the smallest length is the 242RBS at 27 feet 9 inches.
The tallest trailers for this model are the 310BHDS, 296REDS and the 270FLDS at 10 feet 9 inches; the shortest trailers are the 242RBS, 280RLS, 290BHS and the 291QBS at 10 feet 3 inches tall.
Apex trailers have a maximum length of 26 feet 9 inches for the 26BHS and a minimum length of 17 feet 6 inches for the 17FB. All Apex trailers are 7 feet 6 inches wide and 8 feet 6 inches tall.
Water and Weights
Coachmen Freedom Express trailers in 2011 hold a maximum of 49 gallons of fresh water, 32 gallons of black water and 34 gallons of gray water. They have a hitch weight ranging from 442 lbs. for the 242RBS, to 920 lbs for the 270FLDS. Cargo capacity for these models start at 1,170 lbs. for the 295RLDS and max out at 3.050 lbs for the 296REDS. Apex trailers have a maximum capacity of 30 gallons for black water, gray water and fresh water storage.
Hitch weight for Coachmen trailers range from 342 lbs. for the 18BH to 500 lbs. for the 26BHS. Minimum cargo capacity for an Apex model is 870 lbs. for the 18BH and the maximum capacity is 3,455 lbs. for the 24RBD.
Exterior and Interior
2011-model Coachmen Freedom Express and Apex trailers have laminated, vacuum-bonded sidewalls with framing made of aluminum. Both models have four stabilizer jacks and lights for the patio or porch. Apex models have an exterior surface made of fiberglass, while Freedom Express models feature I-beam chassis construction.
The interior of Freedom express trailers have rolled goods flooring made by BeauFlor, while Apex trailers utilize Armstrong linoleum flooring. Apex trailers have solid wood drawers, two-tone cabinet doors made of glazed maple and hardwood door frames. Freedom Express trailers have mortise and tenon cabinet door frames made of hardwood and decor that includes Brazilian cherry woodgrain.
Features
Apex and Freedom Express bathrooms in 2011 feature a foot-flush toilet, medicine cabinet and powered vents. Apex models have a shower surround while Freedom Express models use a designer tub surround. Both types of trailer models have 55-amp power source with a furnace and two 20-pound propane tanks. Freedom Express trailers include a microwave and a powered range hood with light. Apex trailers include single-door or double-door fridges, a two-burner cook-top or three-burner slide-in stove and an illuminated and powered range hood vent.
Harley's primary cover contains oil which lubricates the clutch pack and primary chain.
Harley-Davidson motorcycles use a chain-driven primary system to transmit power from the engine sprocket to the clutch housing. Drive plates in the clutch pack engage the plates in the clutch pack to drive the primary shaft in the transmission. The primary chain case cover contains Harley primary chain case lubricant which lubricates the clutch pack and primary chain. Failure of the primary chain case cover gasket or either of the two inspection cover gaskets will result in a leak and need to be replaced.
Instructions
Draining the Chain Case
1. Start the motorcycle and drive it until it is up to operating temperature. Park the bike on level ground. Remove the battery's negative cable bolt with a 10 mm wrench. Pull the battery's negative cable off of the battery post.
2. Place a catch pan under the primary chain case drain plug. Remove the five clutch inspection cover retaining screws with a ratchet and Allen driver and pull the cover off of the primary case.
3. Remove the primary chain case drain plug. Allow the lubricant to drain fully from the chain case.
4. Remove any debris or metal salt from the drain plug magnet. Inspect the drain plug O-ring for signs of wear or damage and replace if necessary.
5. Install the drain plug. Torque the drain plug to 14 to 21 foot-pounds with a 3/8-inch torque wrench and socket.
Removing the Cover
6. Remove the rider and passenger floorboard mounting bolts from the frame with a ratchet and Allen driver. Pull the floorboards off of the vehicle.
7. Remove the jiffy stand bolts with a ratchet and socket. Remove the jiffy stand.
8. Loosen and remove the shift lever screw with a ratchet and Allen driver. Slide the shift lever and rubber spacer off of the shifter shaft.
9. Remove all of the primary chain case cover bolts with a ratchet and Allen driver. Pull out on the cover to separate it from the inner chain case.
10. Scrape the old gasket material off of the gasket surfaces with a gasket scraper. Wipe the inside of the cover clean with a shop rag.
Installation
11. Lift the primary cover and the new gasket into position. Loosely install all of the cover bolts. Torque the cover bolts to 108 to 120 inch-pounds with a 1/4-inch torque wrench and Allen driver using a star pattern.
12. Install the shift lever and lever screw. Torque the lever screw to 18 to 22 foot-pounds with a 3/8-inch torque wrench.
13. Install the floorboards and floorboard mounting bolts. Torque the bolts to 30 to 35 foot-pounds with a 3/8-inch torque wrench and Allen driver.
14. Install the jiffy stand and jiffy stand mounting bolts. Torque the bolts to 15 to 20 foot-pounds with a 3/8-inch torque wrench and Allen driver.
15. Add 38 fluid ounces of Harley primary chain case lubricant to the primary through the clutch inspection hole. Install a new clutch inspection cover O-ring onto the cover and position the cover over its hole. Torque the inspection cover bolts to 108 inch-pounds with a 1/4-inch torque wrench and Allen driver using a star pattern.
16. Install the battery's negative cable onto the battery negative post. Install the battery bolt and tighten it securely with a 10 mm wrench.
17.Start the vehicle and check for leaks around the primary and clutch covers.
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, otherwise known as ADHD, is a psychological disorder that occurs in three to five percent of children worldwide. This psychological disorder impacts the abilities of children to maintain focus or concentrate, often leading to problematic situations in learning environments. Although ADHD is able to be moderately controlled through the use of medication and therapy sessions, the financial responsibilities of management can become overwhelming. Fortunately, there are several means of financial assistance to help cover these expenses and educational costs associated with ADHD.
Private Insurance
The first place to look for financial assistance is through a health insurance provider. If you currently possess coverage for yourself and family, contact your provider to discuss options relating to the coverage of ADHD related expenses such as testing, prescription medications and behavioral therapy sessions. Although most health insurance plans will cover the essential costs for diagnoses and prescriptions, some insurance companies might block the coverage of ADHD-related costs. However, legislation has been enacted in 42 states that establishes committees capable of overriding the decisions of insurance companies that do not offer coverage. If private insurance is not a candidate for financial assistance, the federal government could potentially offer assistance.
Government Funded Assistance
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, with the backing of the federal government and recently passed legislation, has begun to offer health coverage for kids via the "Insure Kids Now!" program. It is believed that this government-based insurance program for kids will help reduce the financial stress that accompanies an ADHD diagnosis. The federal government also offers financial assistance for lower income families with children suffering from ADHD through the issuance of Supplemental Security Income, or SSI. Supplemental Security Income works in the same fashion of issuance as Social Security, whereby the government determines program eligibility based on levels of income and need.
Educational Help
Although medications and therapy can help reduce symptoms of ADHD in children, they will not solve all issues associated with its effects on learning. Oftentimes, children suffering from severe ADHD require uniquely designed educational programs or schools to aid academica growth. The costs associated with educating an ADHD student can become rather expensive over the course a child's K-12 and post secondary educations. The federal government has programs to allocate funds for educating students with disabilities. In addition to government funding at the national level, states and private organizations may also have like-minded programs to cover these costs of educating ADHD students.
ADHD is a psychological disorder that could stick with a patient for the rest of their lives. Many of the success stories of persons living with ADHD stem from learning to manage the disorder at an early age through means of medication, behavioral therapy and most recently neurofeedback. With financial assistance available for most patients living with ADHD, the opportunities for learning to manage this disorder have never been so readily accessible.

Use
Paper plates are microwave-safe, disposable and frequently white in color. They are commonly used at picnics.
Bleach and Dye
Colored or patterned paper plates may contain bleach and dye. Although these paper plates may be attractive, the chemicals used to design them may not be safe if put in the microwave as they may contaminate your food.
Other Microwave-safe Containers
Aside from white paper plates, any utensil labeled for microwave use (often labeled
"microwave-safe") is safe to use in the microwave. The USDA said heatproof glass, oven cooking bags and heat-susceptible packaging are also microwave-safe.

The USDA warns to never put partially cooked food in the microwave because it may contain bacteria.
Tip
Using paper plates to microwave greasy food is not a good idea. Grease can soak through paper, so use glass containers or treys instead.

Vance and Hines makes some of the finest aftermarket parts for Harley Davidsons and other custom motorcycles. Established in 1979, Vance and Hines manufactures exhaust and air intake systems for dirt, road, and track motorcycles that offer enhanced performance overstock products. True dual exhaust systems, systems which involve one exhaust pipe exiting one cylinder, are one of Vance and Hines specialties and are a common upgrade for many Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiasts. While many shops will install the exhaust kit for you, it is quite simple for a motorcycle enthusiast to perform this upgrade by himself.
Instructions
1. Loosen the header bolts attaching your current exhaust system to your cylinders. Make sure the engine has cooled at least 30 minutes from your last ride before attempting to remove the exhaust system. Disconnect any oxygen sensors that may be attached to the exhaust itself.
2. Disconnect the mounting hardware along the length of the exhaust using a screwdriver and ratchet. Replace the old hardware with the new mounting hardware provided in the Vance and Hines kit. If necessary, drill holes in the frame or other parts of the body kit to which to mount the brackets.
3. Install the exhaust by attaching all of the brackets along the length of exhaust pipe and then installing and tightening the header bolts. Make sure you replace all of the gaskets before tightening the header bolts; otherwise an exhaust leak could be caused. Reconnect the oxygen sensors.
4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 for each cylinder of your motorcycle engine.

A backrest pad is positioned at the rear of the motorcycle seat, and provides support for your back or the back of a passenger. This provides additional comfort when taking a long motorcycle trip. Backrest pads might be short or tall, depending on the type of support you require. The pad can be attached to most types of motorcycles with a bracket attachment.
Instructions
1. Draw an outline of the backrest for your motorcycle on a 1/2-inch piece of plywood with the pencil. Cut around the outline with a jigsaw.
2. Place the cut piece of plywood on a section of 1 1/2-inch foam. Trace around the plywood with a felt-tip marker.
3. Cut around the outline of the foam with the knife.
4. Apply spray adhesive to one side of the plywood. Press the cut piece of foam onto the plywood to adhere the adhesive.
5. Wrap the foam with upholstery batting. Fold the batting on the plywood, and secure it with the staple gun.
6. Trace the front of the backrest onto the backside of the fabric. Add 1/2 inch to the edges of the fabric for the seam. Repeat this step for the sides of the backrest, and add 1 inch for the seam.
7. Sew the pieces of fabric together with the sewing machine. Adjust the fabric so the stitching is on the inside. Place the fabric over the backrest, and secure it to the plywood with staples.
8. Secure a metal strap-bracket to the center of the backrest with screws, using the power drill.

The Battery Tender is a trickle battery charger that has gained a reputation among many auto, boat, and motorcycle owners as the best on the market. Deltran, the maker of the Battery Tender series of products, is well thought of among auto and motorcycle manufacturers also. They are the official factory authorized manufacturer of both Harley-Davidson and BMW battery chargers. Deltran recommends a specific way of using the Battery Tender.
Instructions
1. Set up the AC and DC power cords for the Battery Tender so that they will not get caught in any moving parts of the vehicle.
2. Verify whether the vehicle has a positive or negative ground system. Positive ground systems have the positive post for the battery connected to the vehicle chassis. A negative ground system has the negative post connected to the vehicle chassis.
3. Connect either the positive clip from the Battery Tender, or the ring terminal to the positive battery post on negative ground systems. Next, connect the negative clip, or the ring terminal to the vehicle's chassis. The chassis connection should be made to the engine block or another thick metal part of the frame, not lighter metal items.
4. Connect the negative clip, or the ring terminal to the negative battery post on positive ground systems. Connect the positive clip, or ring terminal to the vehicle's chassis.
5. Plug in the AC power plug to an electrical outlet. Set the charge mode to bulk mode if the battery is 0% to 75%, or 80% charged. Set the charge mode to absorption mode if the battery is 75% to 100%. Set the charge mode to the storage/float maintenance mode if the battery is fully charged.
6. Monitor the lights on the Battery Tender. A steady red light indicates that the Battery Tender is connected properly and charging is taking place. A flashing green light indicates that the battery is over 80% charged, while a steady green light will let you know that your battery is completely charged.

Instructions

2. Attach the other end of the HDMI cable to one of the HDMI input ports on the Yamaha receiver. If the receiver uses more than one HDMI input, take note of how the input is labeled on the back of the receiver because this information will be useful to you later.
3. Configure the Yamaha receiver for the HDMI device by switching it to the correct HDMI input. Depending on which model of receiver you use, there may be a single button used to change inputs, labeled "Input," "Source Select," or something similar, or there may be a separate button assigned to each input and you can switch to that input by pressing that button. Once the Yamaha receiver is switched to the correct HDMI input, you should hear its audio outputting through the speakers.

The 2007 HD Road King police bike features an oil-cooled, Twin Cam 103 engine that offers a displacement of 1,690 cubic centimeters. The torque measures 102 foot-pounds at 2,500 rpm. The 2007 Road King provides a 9.6 compression ratio and a bore and stroke of 3.88 and 4.38 inches, respectively.
Dimensions
The 2007 Harley-Davidson Road King measures 93.7 inches long, 59 inches high and 34.5 inches wide. The bike weighs 723 pounds and has a ground clearance of 5.1 inches. The wheelbase measures 63.5 inches.
Performance
The six-speed Road King features an electronic sequential port fuel injection system with a five-gallon fuel tank. The motorcycle features an anti-lock brake system with four-piston calipers and uniform expansion rotors. A chrome exhaust, mild steel frame and nine-plate clutch are also standard features of the 2007 Road King.
The Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic is a retro-style motorcycle with plenty of chrome and ornamentation but little of the amenities found on touring bikes designed for long-distance travel. The motorcycle appeals to Harley-Davidson purists who prefer the hefty power generated by the Heritage Softail's twin cam engine and a six-speed transmission that allows for a comfortable ride at low RPMs.
History
The Heritage Softail is part of the FL series of Harley-Davidson motorcycles dating back to 1941 that included the famed "knucklehead" and "panhead" engines. The Softtail chassis was introduced in 1984 to capture the styling of 1940's bikes that was beginning to emerge in response to the influx of Japanese motorcycles. The FLST Heritage Softail debuted in 1986 with large telescopic forks, and the Heritage Softail Classic followed two years later with an emphasis on retro-styling. The Heritage Softail not only paid homage to the 1940's styling but also proved to be good marketing by capturing the baby boomer generation's eagerness for nostalgia. Although boomers were not quite old enough to ride the 1940's vintage motorcycles, they lusted after them nonetheless.
The Look
The Heritage Softail features plenty of chrome from nose to rear, studded saddle bags and a low profile with high handlebars. The basic look of the Heritage Softail remained virtually unchanged until 2009 when Harley-Davidson took elements from its sibling, the FL Sotftail Cross Bones, which gave it a slightly darker, if not menacing, look. For 2009, the Heritage Softail featured an oval brake pedal, cat-eye dashboard and half-moon floorboards. Wide whitewalls were featured on the Softail Deluxe model. The wheels are steel-laced but can be ordered in laced aluminum as an option. The speedometer is mounted on the gas tank and is equipped with an odometer, trip meter, fuel gauge, low oil pressure light and engine diagnostic readout.
Size
The 2010 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic sits on a 64.5-inch wheelbase and measures 94.5 inches long. It stands 5.1 inches above the ground and weighs 730 lbs. without fluids. It sits 27.1 inches tall unladen. Fuel capacity in the tank is 5 gallons. Oil capacity is 3.5 quarts.
Power
The engine is a fuel-injected, air-cooled, chain-driven twin cam displacing 96 cubic inches (1584cc). Its bore measures 3.75 inches, and the stroke is 4.38 inches. The compression ratio is 9.2:1, and torque is rated at 92.2 foot-pounds. Power is transmitted via a six-speed manual transmission.
Performance
The Heritage Softail Classic doesn't feature standard GPS, cruise control or ABS braking found on competitors' touring bikes (GPS can be ordered as an option), but it handles well over the long haul. With the higher handlebars and wider spaced floorboards introduced in 2009, the bike's ergonomics have improved over previous models, and the rider's posture is improved. The motorcycle gets 35 MPG in the city and 54 on the highway. The 2010 Heritage Softail starts at about $17,000.

Upgrade the EFI map in your Harley-Davidson motorcycle for optimum performance.
Contemporary Harley-Davidson motorcycles have abandoned the use of carburetors in favor of electronic fuel injection, or EFI. Fuel delivery to the injectors is regulated by software maps in the electronic control unit (ECU) on the motorcycle. You might install different maps to conserve fuel on long-distance rides or to improve performance in conditions that call for numerous gear changes. Those with limited knowledge of EFI systems should enlist the services of a qualified Harley-Davidson technician. If you have experience with EFI systems, perform an evaluation to determine the ideal maps for optimum performance.
Instructions
1. Connect the EFI fuel injection tuner interface cables to the electronic controller unit (ECU) and the fuel map sensor on the motorcycle.
2. Set the data mode on the tuner to "Record Data Files" and start the motorcycle engine. Allow the engine to warm up to normal operating temperature by idling for approximately five minutes.
3. Observe the tachometer on the motorcycle as you twist the throttle grip to simulate your riding style.
4. Maintain a constant 2,600 rpms for two minutes to establish the correct map for long-distance riding in top gear. Raise and lower the engine speed from 900 rpms to 3,500 rpms for two minutes and simulate gear changes to establish the correct map for shorter rides.
5. Note the "AFR" code on the EFI tuner display after completing the two-minute evaluation. Turn off the engine. Refer to a closed-loop bias table and obtain the correct software disc based on the information in the table.
6. Switch the ignition key to the "Accessory" position. Set the EFI tuner to "Download Mapping Software" and install the disc in the software tray. Select the "Download" function and monitor the progress bar on the tuner display.
7. Disconnect the tuner interface cables from the ECU and map sensor on the motorcycle when the download is complete.
The Vance & Hines Fuelpak is a computerized fuel management system for Harley Davidson motorcycles with aftermarket custom exhaust systems. Installed as a plug-in accessory, the Fuelpak allows the user to customize air-fuel ratios created by the factory engine control module (ECM), which manages engine parameters including ignition, mixture, throttle position and emission controls. Improved performance and fuel efficiency may result when the stock ECM is matched to the custom exhaust system by the custom parameters entered into the Fuelpak. The procedure for entering and storing values in the Fuelpak is straightforward and relies on the manufacturer's information supplied for specific exhaust systems.
Instructions
1. Consult the Fuelpak setting chart included with the Fuelpak to determine your setting reference number. The setting reference number references the make, model and year of your Harley Davidson, plus the specific custom exhaust equipment you have installed.
2. Go to the setting values section in the second half of the setting chart and locate your setting reference number, followed by the values to be entered for each of the 18 programming modes of the Fuelpak.
3. Remove the four screws that secure the clear cover to the Fuelpak control module. The two LED digits on the left represent the programming mode number. This number is advanced by pressing the single button to the left of the LEDs. The two LED digits on the right represent the programming value. This number is incremented up or down by pressing one of the two buttons to the right of the LED.
4. Turn on the ignition switch and the handlebar run switch. Do not start the engine. Verify that the LEDs on the Fuelpak are illuminated.
5. Consult the correct line in the setting values section for the programming values for each mode. Beginning with Mode 1, press the programming value buttons to the right of the LED to enter the correct programming value. When the value is entered, press the mode select button to the left of the LED to advance to Mode 2. If a negative value is required, use the lower programming value button to decrement past zero into the negative range. Continue until the values for all 18 programming modes have been entered.
6. Advance to Mode 19 to calibrate the Fuelpak to the throttle position sensor. Twist the throttle all the way open, then bring it back to fully closed.
7. Turn the igntion switch off. Install the clear cover on the Fuelpak module and secure it with the four screws.
You need a larger motorcycle with a front storage unit to mount your XM radio receiver.
Sirius XM is a satellite radio service designed to give you access to hundreds of different stations from around the country. The XM-based receivers may be used just about anywhere, including on a motorcycle -- depending on your make and model. Although you are not going to be able to mount the receivers to any crotch rockets or Harley Davidsons, a larger motorcycle with a built-in front storage compartment will work just fine, as it protects the receiver from the wind and other elements.
Instructions
1. Remove the sticker from the adhesive bottom on the XM mount and stick it inside the storage compartment at the front of the motorcycle. Once in place, dock the XM receiver onto the mount.
2. Plug the cigarette power adapter into the "Power" port on the side of the XM radio, then plug it into the cigarette adapter in the motorcycle. This is usually located directly in the compartment you are already using.
3. Insert the 3.5-mm cable into the "Line-Out" port on the XM receiver, then connect it into the "AUX" port on your motorcycle's stereo system.
4. Power on the motorcycle and the XM radio. Change the radio to "Aux." The audio from XM should now now play over the vehicle's speaker system.

Harley-Davidson's FLHX Street Glide is an impressive touring motorcycle. With an appearance that garners attention on the boulevard and an appetite for long-distance rides, the Street Glide presents a solid base for urban motorcyclists that favor the occasional road trip. However, keeping a Street Glide roadworthy requires regular maintenance in the form of oil and fluid changes. Draining and replenishing the motor oil, primary fluid and transmission oil is straightforward affair, requiring only a few hand tools and a motorcycle stand.
Instructions
1. Start the motorcycle and let it warm up for five minutes. This will bring the oil to its operating temperature, allowing it to flow easier and drain completely. Stop the motor after five minutes. Place the motorcycle on a stand to support it in an upright position.
2. Place an oil pan under the drain plug on the left side of the motor. Remove the drain plug using a 5/8" socket and allow the motor oil to drain completely. Wipe the tip of the drain plug with a shop towel to remove any buildup or debris. Remove the o-ring from the drain plug and replace it with a new o-ring. Insert and tighten the drain plug with a 5/8" socket once the oil has finished draining.
3. Move the oil pan directly under the oil filter on the front of the motor. Use a filter wrench to unscrew the oil filter from the motor. Discard the oil filter. Fill the new oil filter with fresh motor oil and spread a thin coat of oil around the filter's mating surface. Screw the oil filter into place by hand until it is seated against the motor. Tighten the oil filter an additional quarter of a turn to secure it.
4. Remove the filler cap from the motorcycle's oil tank. Use a funnel to pour in fresh motor oil into the oil tank, adding up to 3 quarts of oil. Remove the funnel and wipe away any spilled oil before replacing the filler cap.
5. Move the oil pan directly beneath the primary housing on the left side of the motor. Using a Torx-27 driver, remove the drain plug from the primary housing, located directly below the round derby cover. Allow the primary fluid to drain. Wipe the tip of the drain plug with a shop towel and replace the plug's o-ring. Reinsert and tighten the drain plug with a Torx-27 driver.
6. Remove the derby cover from the primary housing, using a Torx-27 driver to unscrew the six bolts that secure the derby cover. Set the derby cover aside. Pour up to 1 quart of fresh primary fluid into the primary housing. Ideally, the primary fluid should be level with the bottom of the clutch diaphragm spring within the primary housing. Wipe away any spilled fluid with a shop towel and reinstall the derby cover onto the primary housing.
7. Move the oil pan directly beneath the transmission unit. Remove the transmission drain plug with a 5/8" socket and allow the transmission oil to drain. Wipe the tip of the drain plug with a shop towel and replace its o-ring. Reinsert the drain plug into the transmission and tighten it with a 5/8" socket.
8. Remove the filler cap from the transmission unit. Use a funnel to pour up to 1 quart of fresh transmission oil into the transmission unit. Remove the funnel and wipe away any spilled oil with a shop towel before replacing the filler cap.
Regardless of the model, Harley-Davidson motorcycles are American icons of the road. In endless iterations in popular culture, they've represented danger, freedom and power. In reality, however, a Harley-Davidson motorcycle provides little storage space for the things you may need while heading down the road. The solution is to mount a pair of saddlebags on your bike. Fortunately, installing hard saddlebags on a Harley-Davidson Sportster is not that difficult.
Instructions
1. Push the hex screw through the forward hole in the fender, starting on the underside. Make sure the screw passes through the fender support.
2. Slide the narrow end of the docking point over the bolt. Place a spacer over the top of it, followed by a short bushing.
3. Push the hex screw through the rear hole in the fender, starting on the underside. Make sure the screw passes through the fender support.
4. Slide the wide end of the docking point over the rear bolt, then place a long bushing over it.
5. Ratchet the mounting bolt into place at the top of the shock.
6. Slide the holes on the back of the saddlebag onto the bolts.
7. Tighten the lock nuts onto the bolts from inside the saddlebag, using a ratchet.
8. Place the plastic thread protectors over the bolts. They look like black, plastic end caps, and they will prevent your hands from being cut when you place items in your saddlebag.
9. Repeat the process on the second saddlebag.

ATVs have lots of different uses, from towing a boat around the property to using on a hunting trip with your friends. Since they go off road, parts tend to get dirty easily, including the oil cooler. If the cooler is allowed to stay dirty, then the oil cooler won't be effective, which can lead to problems with the engine. This process should be done as routine maintenance or when the ATV gets extremely dirty after a big trip.
Instructions
1. Locate the oil cooler on your ATV. Depending on the make and model, this can be on the side, the rear or front of the vehicle, so look for a small radiator with two hydraulic lines running into it. With low water pressure, use the hose to rinse off any large chunks of dirt from both sides of the oil cooler, just to loosen them up.
2. Spray the automotive degreaser onto both sides of the oil cooler, making sure to saturate it thoroughly with the degreaser. This will break down any grease on the oil cooler as well as any large dirt left over.
3. Determine the direction of air flow on the oil cooler. Whichever side is facing the front of the ATV is the side that receives the air flow, and the opposite side is what you need to focus on. Turn the pressure on the hose up all the way then place your thumb over the end of the hose about halfway, putting a high-pressure burst of water out of the hose. Aim it through the back side of the oil cooler and blow the dirt out from the back towards the front of the oil cooler. Using low pressure water, rinse off any residue left on your ATV then let the oil cooler air-dry.

Captain America's bike had an extra-high sissy bar.
Sideplate installation is typically one of the first improvements a new owner makes to his brand new Harley. Most new owners are urged by their significant others to install a sissy bar on their bikes. Before the new owner can install a Harley sissy bar, he must install a set of sideplates. If they are Harley-Davidson sideplates, before the owner can install them, he must install the proper mounting hardware. Dealers often try to convince new owners that the job can only be done by certified mechanics. In fact, the job is just hard enough that someone who has never turned a wrench before in his life might feel a little proud when he is finished.
Instructions
1. Tape a couple of rags to your rear fender to protect the finish.
2. Reach inside the fender and feel the hex nuts that secure the rear fender trim to the fender. Work on one side at a time.
3. Hold the sideplate against the fender trim. Use the notches or holes in the sideplate to identify the two fender trim bolts that must be replaced. They should be the two rearmost bolts.
4. Remove each of these trim bolts by immobilizing the hex nut inside the fender with a box wrench and turn the bolt head on the trim side with a socket wrench and socket. Save the hex nuts and washers.
5. Apply threadlocker to the threads of one of the front and one of the rear docking point bolts included in your sideplate mounting kit. Replace the fender trim bolts with one front and one rear docking point bolts.
6. Turn the hex nut on the inside of the fender finger tight for each docking point bolt, then back each nut off one full turn.
7. Push the end notch on the sideplate back onto the docking point closest to the front of the motorcycle. Push the sideplate notch closest to the end of the motorcycle down onto the rearmost docking point.
8. Tighten the hex nuts inside the fenders with a box wrench. Install the side plate on the opposite side of the motorcycle.
9. Remove the rags. Push the sissy bar legs straight down into the square support columns on the sideplates. Lock the sissy bar to the sideplates with the four Allen head screws included with your sideplate kit.
